For those who have been hiding under a rock (or bypassed the hype on social media), it’s Back To The Future Day. Plenty of movie buffs have been eagerly awaiting today to commemorate the day when Marty McFly travelled to the future, Tuesday 21 October 2015.

To celebrate the occasion, NSW Premier Mike Baird joined in on the fun and drove himself to work in a fully souped-up DeLorean car, the same model used in the movie franchise.

Baird, who is continually growing as a cult hero in Australian politics, admits that despite the film suggesting that we wouldn’t need roads by 2015, we still need them. In fact we need more of them!!
