IT’S DONEZO: Olivia And Jackson From ‘MAFS’ Have Broken Up
Whether you rooted for them or plotted their demise, there’s no denying that Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie announcing they’ve split has shaken the reality TV world.
Olivia and Jackson were the last remaining couple from this year’s Married at First Sight experiment — well, the last couple who were actually matched by the experts.
While most of this year’s couples had already split by the reunion, Olivia and Jackson proved they had formed a solid bond over the course of their time together on MAFS. But alas, the contestants have just confirmed they’ve split.
Olivia and Jackson shared a joint statement on their Instagrams:

“After a wonderful 10 months together we have decided to go our separate ways. There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship,” the former couple wrote.
“We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship. Simply a case of ‘almost perfect’. We hope you all can please show compassion as we navigate this privately.”
The couple splitting up won’t come as a huge shock to some fans. In May, the pair were caught up in a cheating scandal after Jackson was filmed kissing a club-goer at Lava Lounge in Berwick. Since then, Olivia has spent most of her time abroad, holidaying in Edinburgh, London, and Ibiza.
When fans had asked her in an Instagram Q&A why Jackson didn’t come along, she replied “I’m desperately trying to convince him,” she said. “He’s training really hard at the moment, so he doesn’t want to break his routine.”
Olivia returned to Australia a little over a week ago. Her posts leading up to the split gave no indication the couple were on shaky ground. Meanwhile, Jackson even posted a cute video showing him setting up a surprise dinner for Olivia on 30 July.

The news follows the confirmation that controversial MAFS couple — Daniel Holmes and Carolina Santos — have also recently split. This means that the 2022 season created zero successful matches. Grim!
