Olivia & Jackson Have Broken Their Silence To Address Their Relationship Status
And just like that, the Married at First Sight cheating scandal that has monopolised this week’s reality TV news has come to an end.
ICYMI (but seriously, how??), footage of Jackson Lonie kissing a woman on a dirty Berwick dance floor was obtained by So Dramatic! over the weekend. The woman in question was Hannah Hughes, who went on to speak to Yahoo Lifestyle and So Dramatic! about what went down, claiming the kiss was “innocent” and a “two-way street”.

Following the kissing footage surfacing, Jackson’s MAFS girlfriend Olivia Frazer told the Daily Mail that she was “speechless,” however she was spotted picking up Jackson from Sydney Airport just a day later.
So, are Olivia and Jackson still together? The couple both shared the below video on Wednesday evening to clarify that they are still very much in a relationship. Ugh, cool!

“We’re staying together. We’ve got a lot of healing to do, but ultimately, we love each other and it’s not worth throwing it away,” Olivia said. Jackson took responsibility for kissing Hannah, but also low-key blamed the “negativity” the couple has received from appearing on MAFS as the reason he was so intoxicated. “The way I’ve been dealing with it is to get blackout drunk, which isn’t an excuse and it’s not acceptable,” Jackson said. “It’s not the person I want to be. It’s not who I am.”
Jackson added that he will attempt to do better in the future. “I am seeking help to try and figure out new ways to combat my emotions and how to deal with this negativity.”
Fellow contestant Tamara Djordjevic commented on Olivia’s post, writing “I love you guys. What you have definitely isn’t worth throwing away. I think people need to understand you’re still humans and no one unless they have been through half of what you guys have would ever understand the pressure it puts on peoples[sic] mental health and ultimately a relationship.” Carolina Santos added, “Stay strong [heart emoji]. Time is the best healer!!”
The video followed Olivia posting a statement to her Instagram Story thanking her followers for their messages of support.
I’m not sure if posting a video to your 180k followers is “healing from this privately,” but you do you, Olivia and Jackson.
