Originals Star Becomes A DC Legend, As Maisie Richardson-Sellers Is Cast As The New Vixen
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has found its new Vixen.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Vixen would be joining DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, jumping aboard the time travelling Waverider. Following the news, it has just been revealed that Maisie Richardson-Sellers will follow in Megalyn Echikunwoke’s footsteps- stepping in as the new Vixen. Fuck yes!

Richardson-Sellers’ Vixen will be the grandmother of Echikunwoke’s Vixen, Mari McCabe who (if you recall) Arrow fans met last season.
According to Variety, the 24-year-old’s character is called Amaya Jiwe and she will get her powers from the ‘Tantu Totem‘ that her granddaughter uses in the present-day.
Richardson-Sellers has previously appeared on the CW as Rebekah Michaelson/Eva Sinclair on The Originals. Her other roles include Michal on Of Kings and Prophets and Korra Sella in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return for season 2 on October 13th and will air in Australia soon after.
