10. The Fault in Our Stars

This book was a movie in the making, taking only two years between John Green‘s novel The Fault In Our Stars published in January 2012 and the film in 2014. Following Hazel Lancaster played wonderfully in the movie by Shailene Woodley, she meets cancer patient Gus and the two teenagers start a life-changing relationship, that takes the two half way across the world.
