People are losing their shit over this backwards flying aeroplane
Social media was in overdrive last night after the shadow of an aeroplane was seen flying backwards on the broadcast of The French Open.
During a break in play between Serena Williams and Sloane Stephens, a mysterious shadow appeared on the court which had people puzzled and pretty terrified.
So what’s the deal? Is it magic? Is it a a UFO? Is it a reflection? …Nope, it’s just wire-cam.
The official sponsor of the Roland Garros wire camera is none other than Emirates Airlines, who have attached a model plane above the camera for branding purposes. As the wire-cam travels backwards, the plane looks like it’s traveling backwards as well.
