It’s that time of the year again. When we all moan to our mates, ‘we should have gone to Coachella this year!’ – despite having nothing short of $3.65 in our bank accounts.
But since most of us can’t be there, we can attend vicariously through the celebs that get paid to go, dress up and live the glamorous lives we’ll never have. While we all know Coachella had a KILLER line-up, let’s be real: it’s all about the fashunnnnn.
Luckily this year it seems everyone got the memo that cultural appropriation is out, with a lot less feather headdresses and bindis flooding our ‘gram feeds. Thank fuck.
Instead 2017’s sartorial offerings were all about monochrome and metallics. Glitter, gold and chrome sparkled up the desert valley, along with straight black and white getups dominating the fashion crowds.
