‘Pokémon Go’ Hack: Lazy Players Attempt Easy Ways To Hatch Eggs With Minimal Effort
Lazy (or genius) Pokémon Go players have discovering some cheeky hacks to speed up egg incubation time.
Pokémon Go has well and truly swept up the country and players are adopting all sorts of tactics to ‘catch’em all’ and succeed in claiming their local gym and bragging rights at work (that is when the servers work).
One key aspect of the game includes collecting eggs which can be placed in an ‘Egg Incubator’. The device hatches your eggs after you walk a certain distance, normally five or ten kilometers. The thought of literally going the distance each day to develop these creatures is proving to be a little too taxing for some players / lazy shits.
Unsurprisingly, some trainers are attempting to beat the system and they’ve discovered some pretty neat hacks.
The internet is being flooded with videos and pics of people trying to trick the GPS system to believing they are walking. This include tying phones to moving ceiling fans, record players and bicycle wheels. But does it actually work? Well, sort of.
Players are reporting that depending on the circumference of the spinning, it takes a long time to clock up one kilometre using these methods. It’s also not nearly as fun and rewarding as actually going for a walk and trying to catch some bonus Pokémon while you’re at it. We’d recommend you get your head out of your phone, not take it so seriously, get off your arse and… who am I kidding I’ve got three eggs on the go ATM and I’ve finally found my calling in life. Catching them all.

But as one trainer discovered – these tactics can definitely backfire on you!
