Police Have Caught One Of The Low-Lifes Behind The Celeb Nude Photo Hack

Good riddance, to bad rubbish.

Federal investigators have arrested a Pennsylvania man, who they have found is responsible for illegally accessing and hacking into more than 100 Apple iCloud and Google Gmail accounts which led to 2014’s disgraceful nude photo leak of female celebs private pictures.

From these hacks, personal information including nude photos of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Victoria Justice were leaked in a revolting violation of privacy.

“It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime,” Jennifer Lawrence told Vanity Fair in 2014.

“It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change.”

The man in question is Ryan Collins, he will plead guilty to a single felony computer hacking charge and could face 18 months in prison.

Investigators found that Collins over the past two years sent emails that appeared to be from Apple or Google and asked the victims to provide their usernames and passwords. When the various celebs responded, he gained access to their personal email and iCloud accounts.
