The British royals have had a difficult 2022, but it looks like the chaos isn’t ending anytime soon after Prince Harry released a tell-all memoir Spare, and some of the claims he detailed in the book are absolutely bonkers.

Last week, the tea-spilling memoir was leaked, as reported by the BBC, with bookshops in Spain selling the autobiography earlier than the release date. And since it was released/leaked, Harry’s stories in Spare have gone viral online with many people sharing their reactions.

Most of the stories in Harry’s memoir were quite revealing and sad, but there are some topics that are discussed in the book that are absolutely wild, like his opinions on Prince William’s receding hairline, and how he lost his virginity. Then there’s the story of how Harry had a frostbitten penis during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding as he suffered frostbite during an expedition to the North Pole.

Due to Harry’s revelations, people have chucked in their two cents on the shitstorm that is unfolding from this book release.

Harry comments on William’s hair loss:

In Spare, Harry recalled the moment when he noticed something about his brother at Prince Phillip’s funeral. “I looked at Willy, really looked at him, perhaps for the first time since we were little, taking in every detail,” he wrote. Harry then commented on William’s hairline, describing his thinning hair as “alarming” and “more advanced” than his own hair.

Harry recalls how he lost his virginity:

A super wild moment from Spare was when Harry shared details about the first time he had sex. In the book, Harry revealed that he had lost his virginity to an older lady in a field behind a pub.

He described the experience as a “humiliating episode” and that the unnamed woman had ‘treated him like a young stallion.’ “I mounted her quickly, after which she spanked my ass and sent me away,” he wrote.

While we love a spicy story, tbh it would’ve been best if Harry had kept this experience to himself.

Harry reveals that he experimented with cocaine and mushrooms:

Prince Harry and Prince William were known to party in the early 2000s. I still remember when these iconic drunk photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton dropped.

In Harry’s autobiography, he admitted that he had taken cocaine, writing, “at someone’s country house during a hunting weekend, I’d been offered a line, and I’d done a few more since.”

Harry also revealed that he had taken magic mushrooms, which lead him to a weird trip in a bathroom. “Beside the toilet was a round silver bin, the kind with a foot pedal to open the lid. I stared at the bin. It stared back. Then it became … a head.”

Heaps of people online have poked fun at Harry’s experience with drugs, with one Twitter user writing “no one is surprised that Prince Harry has taken cocaine.”

Harry recalls when he had a frostbitten penis:

To top of all the bonkers stories in Spare, Harry wrote about the time he had a frostbitten penis during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. He said that he had suffered frostbite on his ears, cheeks and penis after he had participated in an Arctic charity walk back in 2011.

“While the ears and cheeks were already healing, the todger [AKA penis] wasn’t. It was becoming more of an issue by the day,” he wrote.

This is definitely a massive overshare, and maybe we didn’t need to know about his frozen peen? IDK.

The stories shared by Harry are so bizarre and shocking that the whole book release became a meme template on Twitter. Users have been creating fake claims from Spare, alongside a picture of the cover and a fake Prince Harry quote. Some of them are hilarious!

Aside from all the jokes and memes the memoir has inspired, Harry did get really candid about his current relationship with the royals in Spare. In an ITV interview with journalist, Tom Bradby, Harry said “I want reconciliation, but first there needs to be some accountability.”
