Projection mapped makeup is incredible

3D printed makeup? Whatever. This is the kinda stuff I want from futuristic technology.

Using projection mapping Nobumichi Asai has demonstrated in his video, Omote, the potential for on the spot makeup using real-time face tracking and light. In the video, the model’s face transforms from made-up face to made-up face before embarking on the coolest science fiction shit you’ll see all day.

As The Creators Project pointed out, just one of the amazing uses this technology could have is its use in theatre. “Imagine theatre where performers can change their makeup—and essential[ly] their character—in real-time without going off stage and applying a new layer of eyeliner.”

I’m so into this.
