Puppn’ Bottles: Mariah Carey’s Pampered Pooches “Only Fly First”
Turns out Mariah Carey takes good care of her beloved pet dogs. Like, really looks after them.
The singer and now bride-to-be of Australian billionaire James Packer, recently gave her puppies the First Class treatment. It’s reported that the US singer just flew her Jack Russells, named Cha Cha and Jill E. Bean (?) from Aspen to her new lavish rented pad in LA this week where she’s hanging out with her bae.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six that she flies the pups around at the front of the plane on the reg, saying:
“Mariah’s dogs only fly first. But the two pets hate each other, so [they] had to be placed in separate kennels for the journey and travel with two separate members of her staff.”
The journey reportedly cost over $2,000 USD per dog – so around $5,700 Aussie bucks all up. That’s well above what a lot of Aussies rake in each month after tax.
Meanwhile, Mariah and James are leasing a luxury home for $250,000 per month – so I guess financially they can justify it.
Let’s just hope that the Packers fill out their visa papers correctly and declare their dogs to customs when travelling to Australia next. Unlike their mates Pistol and Boo, we’d like to see them stand a chance against our Minister for Agriculture:
The newly-engaged couple have rented a mansion in The Oaks, a gated community in Calabasas, California and have taken on the lease “with an option to purchase”, according to TMZ. The 18,000 square foot house also features a sauna and a gym and is set over one acre.
And although both Mariah and James are still legally wed to their estranged spouses, Nick Cannon and Erica Packer, she is already making plans for a huge ceremony in Europe this summer.
A source said:
“Mariah is just beyond excited right now.
“She has wanted to be his wife pretty much since they first got together, and has already started to plan what type of wedding she wants to have.
“Mariah wants the wedding to be this coming summer and she said she would really love it if they could get married where they first fell in love, in the Mediterranean region.
“She wants this wedding to be the biggest and most expensive wedding that the world has ever seen!”
