Rami Malek Was Shown That Awkward Nicole Kidman Snub & His Response Is Adorable

There is nothing more awkward than trying to say ‘Hi’ to someone and having them completely blank you, but for poor sweet Rami Malek this soul-crushing moment went down on all of our TVs, at the Golden Globes on Monday.

In the brutal exchange, Malek while on stage attempted to speak to Nicole Kidman and she didn’t even look in his direction. Upon seeing the footage for the first time in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Bohemian Rhapsody star said, “I have a feeling this is probably haunting me on the internet.”

Yes, friend. It most certainly is. Let’s watch it again!

The actor did say that he knew Kidman, so he wasn’t just some strange man trying to creep up on our unofficial Australian monarch.

“I’ve known her for many years, despite as it may seem from that video,” Rami said. “So, I thought I could easily go up and say, ‘Hi'”.

I guess not.
