Rebecca Black Just Covered NSYNC’s ‘Bye, Bye, Bye’ & It’s Really Fkin Good
If you told me seven years ago that in 2018 we’d be listening to Rebecca Black cover NSYNC and being shook to our core, I would have been wildly confused.
But! It’s not a lie!
Yep, the singer of the infamous song ‘Friday‘ recently auditioned for US reality show ‘The Four’ and blew the judges away with her slowed-down version of NSYNC bop ‘Bye Bye Bye’.
Watch it here for yourself:
Before the audition, Black opened up about her love for music and how hard dealing with the backlash from ‘Friday’ was.
“No one can prepare you for that kind of thing, There’s something so brutal when you’re 13 and people are telling you that you don’t belong here,” the singer said.
Judge Meghan Trainor was extra-excited to see Black, though fellow judges DJ Khaled and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs were a little more confused.
After competing in a one-on-one with another singer, unfortunately Rebecca didn’t make it into the final four.
But props to her for going out there and showing the haters exactly what she’s got.
