Reddit User Is Confronted With This Vegemite On Toast Massacre At Cafe

How you like your Vegemite on toast is probably the most personal opinion any true blue Australian may hold. It usually goes two different ways: either with butter or margarine – or if it should be spread thin or thick.

Personally, I prefer it lightly speckled across my toast like a Jackson Pollock canvas. But we can all agree that Vegemite shouldn’t be lathered across bread like it’s fucking Nutella. Which is what happened at an Australian cafe, as documented on Reddit.

Reactions on Reddit were divided. Some found it (rightfully)abhorrent.

But many others thought the cafe’s Vegemite toast was actually acceptable, and even appealing.

Let’s be honest, tho. It was a massacre.

IMHO it’s just wrong.
