Halle Berry Just Signed Up To Social Media And Gifted The World A Fearless First Pic
Apart from her appearance in ‘X Men: Days of Future Past‘, Halle Berry has been barely visible the past few years. In fact, the Oscar winning actor has only appeared in three films (including X-Men) since late 2012 and has spent most of her recent time appearing in questionably successful TV show ‘Extant‘.
So what has she been up to? Well, as it turns out, a fair bit. That includes setting up her own production company which will drop its first feature film ‘Kidnap’ later this year, starring the leading lady herself alongside the unrelated Christopher Berry (12 Years a Slave, Django Unchained). She’s also a mother of two – Maceo, aged two, and Nahla, eight, from different relationships… So, it’s fair to say she hasn’t had much free time on her hands to aimlessly scroll through feeds of food and share the odd selfie.
But it seems Berry has just coined on to the fact that having a social media presence might just help her market her latest endeavors, with news today that she’s finally signed up to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram – #BetterLateThanNever …right?
The 49-year-old actress certainly made a grand entrance to the channels, sharing her first photo in the early hours of this morning, which was basically a mysterious shot of her walking topless through a forrest. The snap is fearless, unashamed and certainly makes a statement – she might be late to the party, but she can make a damn entrance!

Taking to her new accounts, the brunette beauty uploaded the elegant photo, which sees her walking through a picturesque forest with no clothes on, alongside the caption: “… I’m excited to share with you my love of nature, the arts, fashion and much more in the hopes that the images will inspire, promote conversation and bring you joy. (sic)”
We take it that she’s still yet to familiarise herself with the dank lingo of the interw3bz.
Although she’s only just joined the sites, she wasted no time following her friends following Adele, Bruno Mars and Alicia Keys. Meanwhile, within just four hours of creating her accounts, Halle has already managed to rack up over 77,000 followers – at time of publish – as she continues to share her world with her adoring fans for the foreseeable future.
On’ya Berry! Welcome to the internet ?
