Zac Efron Pulls A Matthew Perry, Won’t Appear In The HSM Reunion
Zac Efron has gone and pulled a Matthew Perry and High School Musical fans are pissed.
In the wake of Perry’s decision to decline an invitation to appear with Friends co-stars in a reunion, it’s today been announced that Zac Efron will be missing from a HSM reunion to be aired on the Disney Channel this week. In many eyes, Perry and Efron (Who both starred in the film 17 Again) have already ruined everyone’s year by being reunion party-poopers.
The gang in attendance for the reunion ep will include Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay), Corbin Bleu (Chad), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan) and Monique Coleman (Taylor), Alyson Reed (Ms. Darbus), Olesya Rulin (Kelsi), Chris Warren, Jr. (Zeke) and Bart Johnson (Coach Bolton).
Much like Perry with the friends reunion, Efron will appear in a pre-taped video as he is unavailable to be there in the flesh due to other commitments… but try telling that to the die hard HSM fans.

According to Disney, the main foundation cast members recorded nostalgic segments at a high school gymnasium in Los Angeles where they gave interviews and reminisced about the time when they were all in it together.
