INSTAFAIL: Rhys From The Bachelorette Is Copping It For Photoshop’n His Instagram Posts

The Bachelorette’s Rhys Chilton has certainly turned some heads after Georgia Love booted him off the current season of the show in spectacular fashion. Moments after his shock departure, Rhys switched his Instagram profile over to public, inundating the world with hundreds thousands of topless promo shots. The bloke clearly loves flaunting his rig.

But one pic from nine months ago has recently been copping some serious IG hate of late and Rhys isn’t all that happy about the heat.

The photo in question, features a giggling, topless Rhys with three adorable puppies jumping on his back. All sorts of cute, right?  The caption reads “them puppy tickles are the best” – here it is:

Unfortunately for Rhys, and much to our amusement, some savvy punters were quick to point out that it was indeed photoshopped. A simple search for “3 puppies” will bring up the following results:

Ouch.

The comments on the photo have escalated latterly and are getting a bit nasty for our liking.

But to his credit, Rhys is sticking by his guns (so to speak). The self-described hunk reckons the whole thing isn’t meant to make him look all cute and adorable – but is in fact a funny joke. A joke that we don’t really get… but sure.

Responding to the hate, he updated the caption on the photo with the addition: “for those that are a little slow… and haven’t read my bio.. it’s called ‘taking the piss“. He has also been firing back to users in the comments, justifying his comedic wit.
