LOLZ: Twitter Is Asking What ‘If Bond Movies Were Australian’ With Glorious Results
This morning we learnt the sad news that Sir Roger Moore had died, at age 89 after a short battle with cancer. As tributes flood in for the much-loved actor, and the ultimate James Bond, Australians on Twitter have taken an unexpected approach to saluting his legacy.
Jumping on the bandwagon, Twitter users are re-imagining Ian Fleming’s famous films, as if they were Aussie. Get ready for some incoming true blue ‘straya-isms.
The hashtag seemed to be kicked off by the ABC’s Hobart team, asking what would happen #IfBondMoviesWereAustralian in honour of Moore.
