Ryan Adams could literally beat Taylor Swift at her own game at next year’s Grammy Awards.

The Americana Rock/Folk crooner’s song-by-song cover album of Swift’s ‘1989’ record has been critically acclaimed. Since it’s release last week, many have suggested it’s better than Tay-Tay’s own original recordings.

“The Recording Academy confirmed that his cover album — filled with fresh reinterpretations — is eligible for nominations and awards because it was released before the Sept. 30 deadline and because it meets the requirements of being a new recording.” – Mashable

Adams has received plenty of accolades from industry figures, who claim that his mature music style compliment’s T-Swizzle’s songwriting…

Tay-Tay is long-time fan of Adams and has publicly declared her love for the covers on the album.

Swifty is expected to absolutely clean up at next year’s Grammys, but now many people are suggesting that Adams, could even go one better than her and take the gong of Album of The Year.
