Sam Is Being Blasted On Twitter For Body-Shaming Elizabeth On ‘MAFS’
On tonight’s episode of Married at First Sight, groom Sam showed his true colours by body-shaming his new wife Elizabeth and it’s very much not okay.
I don’t really want to repeat what he said, but the dude needs to be held accountable for his words. During a photo shoot following the wedding he told the camera:
“I’ve never really dated girls, I guess, as big as Elizabeth in the past to be honest,” he said. “She’s got a beautiful face, I’m just taking her for who she is [and] not for her body image.”
Sam: I’ve never dated someone her size.

“Maybe I’ll get her running in the mornings or something, maybe drag her out of bed. I dunno, she’ll be right. We’ll get her going. She’ll be fine.”

Ahead of the episode airing, Elizabeth spoke about some of Sam’s comments to The Herald Sun saying he was “very shallow” and called him a “pig.”
