The 18 Funniest Tweets From The Hectic ‘SAS Australia’ Finale
After weeks of brutal challenges and psychological training, SAS Australia came to an end last night, as three celebrity contestants were chosen to pass the selection test.
The finale saw the final five recruits escape captivity from the Hunter Force, and be subjected to painful stress positions and disturbing noises, before being interrogated by specialist defence personnel.

The last stage was a three-phase operation including 3km of carrying heavy sandbags and ammunition containers, trekking through difficult terrain, and then an uphill 4km sprint. Tbh, I got exhausted just watching it.
Molly Taylor quit early in the episode, while James Magnussen was informed by chief instructor Ant Middleton that despite finishing all the challenges, he didn’t do enough overall to pass. Savage. This left Nick Cummins, Sabrina Frederick, and Merrick Watts as the only three celebs to pass selection.
They did it! ✊ A big congratulations to Nick Cummins, Sabrina Frederick and Merrick Watts for passing selection.? #SASAustralia pic.twitter.com/Sn57kC0d4b

I honestly can’t think of anything worse than competing on this show, because my three greatest fears are feeling cold, getting dirty, and any kind of physical exercise. But good on them!
Bring on Season 2, and until then, here are the best tweets from last night’s finale…

Nah, that’s just unfair. James should’ve passed. Being a silent achiever is not any less commendable. If anything, being stoic and clear-headed is a useful trait in battle. #SASAustralia pic.twitter.com/S1cv9SH2UT
