After a few seasons away, Scotty T is back on Geordie Shore but this time the tables have turned and he is the boss.

The 18th season dropped on MTV earlier this year and a familiar face has come on board. The one and only Scotty T has finally returned and we are saved.

We chatted with the reality TV fave who is in Australia for World TV Day and has teamed up with Deliveroo to surprise one lucky person, who will open their door to meet Scotty T delivering their order.

While Scotty T is back on Geordie Shore, he is not a fully fledged cast member anymore which means he’s up for spilling all sorts of tea. We got him to answer some burning questions over why he left the series and for all the goss on the house!

Was he kicked off the show by producers?

“If I was kicked off the show, how could I be recording another MTV show? There was one point where I left the house but that was only because of arguments and I decided to not go back in because it was doing my head in. They wind me up so much and that house is a nightmare so I left. It just takes one person saying I’ve been sacked and people can fabricate a lot of things.”

Then why did he leave the show?

“I left because basically I was recording the tattoo show [Just Tattoo of Us] with Charlotte [Crosby] and the filming time clashed. For another series I was travelling around Australia and Thailand, which I had booked in for ages.

“They had told me there wasn’t any filming going on, then all of a sudden they wanted to start and I couldn’t commit to them. It was just bad timing so they cut me out for a bit, but now it’s more organised.”

Turns out the Geordie Shore house is pretty gross:

“I don’t stay in the house, which is perfect for me because I hate how messy the house always is.

“When I walked in there, there was just food everywhere and it was just an absolute mess. They’re at a point now that they just don’t care, it’s so unhygienic, it’s horrible. I’m a bit OCD and I can’t bear it.”

This season he’s single and ready to mingle:

“I’m still single. I was in a relationship for a bit but I’m not going to commit to anyone else yet because I’m travelling around so much. If I have a girlfriend, I want to see quite a lot of her.”

He’ll be back next season:

“You don’t see me loads [this season] but you’ll see me more next season,” he said.

“We are recording again in the beginning of January so that should be on TV around about March. The people really missed us.”

Scotty T no longer speaks to Gary:

“I haven’t spoken to him [Gary], I’ve just let him crack on with it to be honest. He needs time to adjust and be a dad. Obviously he’d have no clue how to do it, so I just let him do his thing. I can’t imagine him returning to Geordie Shore.

But reckons Charlotte will eventually come back on the show:

“Yeah, I do [think she’ll return]. If there’s a birthday special or something like that she’ll definitely come back. She’s just really busy.”

What reality shows does he rate other than Geordie Shore?

“I’ve got a few favourite TV shows that I watch now and then but I don’t like watching myself on TV because I always make a fool of myself. I do like Jersey Shore and I like Made In Chelsea.”
