Australia has a new celebrity judge that will be replacing Seal for the upcoming season of The Voice, and it’s a bit of a random pick.

The Voice judge has finally been announced and it’s err… US singer Joe Jonas.

Yep. This guy…

Jonas is most known for being one-third of promise-ring wielding band The Jonas Brothers but he would go on to join DNCE, the group behind this year inescapable hit tune ‘Cake By The Ocean‘.

Tbh, the only thing we like about this guy is that he’s engaged to Sansa Stark (aka Sophie Turner), so he’s judging skillsz are already pretty excellent.

Speaking to Today, Jonas said he was keen AF to be heading Down Under.

“I can’t wait to go spend some time over by you guys and hopefully work on my tan and take this show home,” he said.

“It is an amazing team of people and there are so many incredible musicians. I am just thrilled to … be a part of this show. I got to have a little taste of it here in the States. I was mentoring with [US Voice judge] Adam Levine and I just loved it. So I can’t wait to work with some of the amazing talent over there.”

Jonas will be taking a seat alongside Kelly Rowland, Delta Goodrem and Boy George for the seventh season of the reality show, as we bid goodbye to long-time series staple Seal.

Seal-ya-later! (Sorry)
