After a torturously lengthy wait, the second season of Netflix’s mega-successful series 13 Reasons Why dropped over the weekend and we are feeling ALL of the emotions.

OBVIOUSLY THERE ARE S2 SPOILERS AHEAD, FAM.

The new series addressed the storylines left unsettled in S1 and gifted us with some new flashbacks from Hannah’s life.

We were also blessed with some cute AF new ships to obsess over, with Hannah and Zach’s secret relationship, Justin and Clay forming an unlikely bromance, and my personal fave twosome Alex and Zach.

But the series didn’t shy away from the big issues, shining a bright light on teen bullying and mental illness, as well as stories about sexual assault, consent, and toxic masculinity.

Here’s what gave us major feels in S2 of 13 Reasons Why:

1. Hannah and Zach made a better couple than any of us could have imagined.

Clay is cancelled.

Hannah and Zach were ENDGAME.

2. Hannah came back as a ghost, who only Clay could see.

3. Courtney bravely told the truth about Hannah on trial and came out to her family and friends.

4. Clay’s fam decided to adopt Justin.

THE FEELS.

5. Mr. Porter’s redemption story was EMOTIONAL.

I’m still sobbing.

6. Jeff Atkins STILL deserved better.

7. This prank on Marcus was just perfection and so satisfying to watch.

8. Zach and Alex’s friendship was beautiful and pure.

9. Jessica testified against her rapist and the moment was a powerful statement about rape culture.

10. And Justin dropped some straight truth bombs to Clay.

11. Our faves took on the jocks and it was EVERYTHING.

Hectic.

This was actually the best.

12. Hannah finally said goodbye to Clay and it hurt. A lot.

I can’t take it.

13. And the moment when ‘The Night We Met’ played at the school dance and the gang rallied around Clay to support him was heartbreakingly beautiful.

THE EMOTIONS.
