Chrishell Has Addressed Her Sexuality After Confirming Romance With G Flip
Chrishell Stause began the most recent season of Selling Sunset dating her boss, Jason Oppenheim, but by the time the reunion rolled around, Chrishell was dating someone new… someone Australia knows very well.
“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me,” Stause told Selling Sunset’s reunion host Tan France. “Their name is G Flip. They’re non-binary, so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician.”
Yep, our very own G Flip is dating Chrishell aka star of real estate reality show phenomenon, Selling Sunset. I don’t know what it’s like to feel patriotic, but this has to be it.
Reactions to this news online were mixed to say the least. It didn’t help Chrishell that the reunion episode focused heavily on showing her ex Jason looking downcast, and even crying at one stage. Along with feeling sorry for Jason, online critics have also taken aim at Chrishell for dating G Flip, despite breaking up with Jason because he didn’t want kids, which umm… doesn’t really make a lot of sense. G Flip hasn’t spoken publicly about whether they want kids or not, so this kind of criticism seems to be laced with queerphobia.
The overwhelming vibe online about Chrishell and G Flip is that of confusion, with Twitter users writing that Chrishell dating the musician contradicts her plans to have a baby in the near future. After the reunion aired, Chrishell hit back at this kind of criticism, sharing a meme of costar Maya Vander and adding her own text.

Chrishell later uploaded a video to address her new relationship. “I know that some of you won’t understand this or agree with this but for me, it is about the person,” Chrishell began. “It is about their heart and yes, there’s that part of you that is what you’re attracted to. But for me I am attracted to masculine energy and I don’t really care what the physical form is.”
She continued, “Everyone is different but for them, they really feel like they are a mix and they identify on both sides of male [and] female,” Chrishell said. “That’s one of those things I personally find such a beautiful mix and I think it’s probably why we did connect on such a deep level.”

She went on to address whether she saw herself and G Flip having a baby. “In this current situation with G, it’s one of those things that yes, I wish [we are] in the same stage of our life and we want the same things. But that doesn’t diminish the deep connection that we have made and the way they have opened my eyes to what that future could look like.”
G Flip commented on the post, writing “Well said beautiful.” This couple are what dreams are made of.
So how did these two crazy kids get together? Chrishell plays G Flip’s love interest in the video for their new song ‘Get Me Outta Here’. To mark the release, the musician even had Chrishell tattoo the track’s name on their leg. Chrishell commented, “Found my new calling. Might open up a new shop.”

G Flip confirmed that they actually first met through a fellow Aussie muso. “Me and Chrishell, we’ve been hanging out a lot, we met through Tones and I,” they told the Herald Sun. “She has not been to Australia but I think she’ll come at some point.”
We will gladly welcome Chrishell to Australia with open arms.
