Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim and Marie-Lou Nurk have called it quits after just 10 months of dating. The timing of their break up seems planned interesting, because the pair just debuted their relationship on Season 6.

For those living under a rock, the show revolves around Jason’s luxury real estate company The Oppenheim Group. His previous relationship with star Chrishell Stause was well documented on the show. A handful of fans want Chrishell and Jason to get back together, but that ship seems to have well and truly sailed.

This year, he let audiences into his new relationship with Parisian model Marie-Lou. His ex Chrishell also showed off her unexpected relationship with Aussie singer G Flip, who she has since married. G Flip and Chrishell are the true power couple we deserve, and have quickly become one of our fave Selling Sunset ships.

But back to Marie-Lou and Jason. Their brief fling started in Greece, with the couple meeting on the island of Mykonos in July in 2022. With careers on opposite sides of the globe, they tried to make the relationship work, with the model splitting her time between Los Angeles and Paris.

There were whispers about a possible wedding in May, but it seems like celebrities are just like us – more often than not, long-distance relationships are just too hard.

According to the couple, there’s no hard feelings between the two, with both Jason and Marie-Lou announcing their split on Instagram.

“While we still love and care about each other very much the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome,” Jason said.

“We remain close friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for one another. We thank everyone for their support through our relationship.”

It doesn’t look like there are any scorned exes here, with cute snaps of the couple still up on social media. In fact, Jason has a carousel of photos with Marie-Lou pinned to the top of his profile.

If they’re still talking and in each other’s life by the time Season 7 starts filming, could the producers bring Marie-Lou back to stir up some drama? We wouldn’t put it past them.
