You Must Watch The Trailer For ‘Sexy Beasts’, A New Bonkers Netflix Dating Show

The reality show of your actual nightmares is here, as the first trailer has dropped for Netflix’s new dating show Sexy Beasts.

The six-episode series will see singles go on blind dates, where each participant is dressed as either an animal or some demented creature. It’s basically like First Dates meets Labyrinth. On each episodes, one person will date three potential suitors and at the end of the date, they will decide who they want to see without the mask on.

The kicker is that every participant has gone through hours of makeup and prosthetics so they are unrecognisable (and terrifying!) which means their connections are based purely off personality — rather than looks. The series is an adaption of the BBC show of the same name, which aired for just one season in 2014.

Check out the trailer for Sexy Beasts and we’ll discuss below:

Ummm. What the hell did we just watch?!

There is something just straight-up creepy about watching adults dressed up as animals but doing human things, like sharing dinner or going on a horse carriage ride. A panda is dating a minotaur? A demon and a baboon are kissing? A cheetah and a beaver go to a shooting range? I feel UNCOMFORTABLE.

The trailer has sent Twitter into a frenzy.

Reactions to the trailer are almost as funny as the trailer itself:

This shit is cursed!

Sexy Beasts drops July 21 on Netflix.
