After months of anticipation, Riverdale just returned to our TV screens and hoeeeee boy, it was worth the wait.

We picked up right where we left off, with Archie’s dad having just been shot in Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe. Archie is tearing through the streets driving a truck to rush his dying dad to the hospital.

From there, it gets hectic as the gang try to figure out who went after Archie’s dad and why, as Fred clings to life. But because this is Riverdale, there was no shortage of crazy overdramatic moments, which make us cherish this ridick series so damn much.

Here’s the 5 biggest WTAF moments of Riverdale’s premiere:

1. Archie & Veronica have bloody shower sex

Archie gets home to shower, covered in the blood of his father, after he got shot. Fred lays in hospital near death.

Veronica gets naked. Archie is keen. Do you know what gets me in the mood? Being covered in my dying dad’s blood.

Yup. This is happening. Daddy blood shower sex. Excellent!

2. Jughead ‘I’m a weirdo’ is a total badass now & can ride a motorbike super convincingly

Jughead is a serpent, so he automatically can ride a motorcycle.

He is so tough. Ride that bike Juggy. Pedal to the metal. Born to be wild.

3. Cheryl tries to just casually kill her mum

Cheryl’s back at it being a low-key psychopath.

Gotta love that gurl.

4. This guy is just being super extra

What’s this Pop man even on about?

Nah, I think it was just some dude with a gun m8.

5. That ending though!

The teacher that Archie once hooked up with has found another pubescent boy to sex.

Oh no. She dead. Death angel beanie boy is at it again.
