DILFS Wanted For New Reality TV Dating Show ‘Grown Up Love’
Single dads wanted! A new reality TV dating show titled Grown Up Love is set to start filming any time now, but they’re desperate for daddies.
Nine’s newest show is set to be an opportunity for single parents to jump back into the dating game, no matter if they’ve been divorced or widowed. “In this fun and heartfelt series, a group of brave parents come together in the hope of making a genuine, lasting connection that could ultimately lead to true love,” the network said. Single parents can apply or be nominated by their children (if they’re over 18).

An anonymous person, who was approached by Nine to nominate their parent for the show, told So Dramatic! that parents and kids will be separated during the filming of the show. “Your parent will be sent on a beautiful retreat with other like-minded single mums and dads while your task will be to create social media content and video diaries about what it’s like wanting your parent to find love,” the casting letter read.
Grown Up Love is also set to be hosted by Australian radio host and TV personality, Kate Langbroek.

So Dramatic! has also pointed out the premise of the show may derive from HBO Max’s Your Mom, Your Dad where kids pull the strings and monitor their single parents as they try and find love in the retreat. Of course, the kids were more than likely over 18.
To chuck my two cents in, the premise of both these shows remind me of the amazing Disney movie titled Parent Trap, although it is unlikely that separated twins will show up on the show to try and make their parents get back together. Lindsay Lohan’s version was also the better one as well, tbh!
And honestly, from what the network said and what has been released about the show, I think Grown Up Love will have a more serious tone as it does involve children in the picture, whereas Married At First Sight has a little wiggle room for some drama.
Although they haven’t specified if children will be monitoring their parents, like the US Your Mom, My Dad, I wonder if the teens would ‘unch on over what parent they wanted for their mummy or daddy, but, I guess we will have to wait as filming has not commenced yet!
So if you’re a Dad who wants some lovin’ or an over-18 who has a Dad that needs to get back into dating, you can apply/nominate them here. Good luck!
