Sky Ferreira Joins Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx In Baby Driver
Sky Ferreira has landed a role in upcoming action-comedy film ‘Baby Driver’ alongside Kevin Spacey and Jamie Foxx.
The 23-year-old pop songstress has joined the star-studded cast – which also features ‘The Fault In Our Stars‘ actor Ansel Elgort and ‘Cinderella’s’ Lily James – for the action-comedy thriller, which is set for release next year.
‘Shaun Of The Dead ‘ director Edgar Wright is helming the title and by all reports Sky Ferreira is bloody stoked to be involved in the movie.
Sky took to her Instagram to share the news and also revealed she has bagged a role in another film called ‘Rosy’.
The singer and actress penned:
It just got announced that I’m going to be in Baby Driver directed by @edgar_wright & Rosy directed by Jess Manafort. The Trust with Nicolas Cage & @electrice will premiere tomorrow at SXSW. So yeah. Lots going on this week ? photo by @christein @blondieofficial
‘Baby Driver’ will follow a getaway driver who has been coerced into crime and becomes involved in a failed heist.
Ferreira also stars in the upcoming comedy-drama film ‘Elvis and Nixon’, which is out next month.
Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter will release new album ‘Masochism‘ later this year with the help of producer Ariel Rechtshaid, who has assisted on Adele and Beyonce‘s albums.
