Australia may not have won Eurovision, but Dami Im‘s second place winning song ‘Sound of Silence’ is absolutely slaying the European music charts right now.

The song has been dominating ever since the Eurovision finale, throughout a wide scope of diverse nations across the northern hemisphere.

The song as it stands is currently: number one in Malta; number three in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, and Estonia;  number four in Poland; number five in Slovenia; number six in Belgium; number seven in the Netherlands; number nine in Denmark; number eleven in Switzerland; along with charting as number 14 in Germany and 16 in Ireland.

YAAAS! Go Dami!!

While the Ukraine’s Jamala was a deserving winner on the night, the more radio-friendly ‘Sound of Silence’ seems to be scoring greater popularity across the European charts so far.
