Snitchery Is Her Own Sleep Paralysis Demon
There’s a high chance that you’ve been mindlessly scrolling through TikTok and Snitchery appeared before you. Her videos almost always start the same, a boppy song, a girl getting ready – makeup brush in hand – before a jump scare as she transforms into something otherworldly.
And I mean that in all seriousness: Snitchery is best known for transforming into Thomas the Tank Engine, a sexy minion or terrifying interpretations of Doctor Who characters. A far cry from her fellow beauty influencers who play politely in the ‘clean girl aesthetic’ space.
Which is why I was so excited to nab some time with Snitchery (real name, Eleanor) to chat about how she stumbled into a beauty career with over five million followers. She dialled in directly from her studio apartment with a light red glow on her neck – remnants of last night’s beauty look that hadn’t quite budged. She’s smiley, engaged and excited to share what reality looks like for a full-time beauty influencer that tackles the industry from a completely different angle.

Fortunately, she’s not really spooked by them, claiming she is her own sleep paralysis demon – which is a troubling thought, but one that Snitchery laughed it off nonetheless.
