We Spoke To Bachy’s Megan & Tiffany About Accusations They’re “Faking” Their Relationship
As we reported earlier today, The Bachelor contestant Keira Maguire made a statement in an Instagram live video that she thought fellow Bachy ladies Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon were faking their relationship for publicity.
Maguire went as far as to say that the two women weren’t “lesbians”, and had fabricated their entire courtship for publicity. According to her video, they’ve fooled everyone.
TheVine.com.au got in touch with Megan and Tiffany to get their thoughts on Keira’s comments. Both women agreed they had only rarely spoken to the Maguire since they finished filming and therefore didn’t believe Kiera knew anything about them or their relationship.
Tiffany told TheVine:
“Keira has not seen and has barely spoken to Megan or myself since we were on the show. If she would like to discuss her opinions of us in private I would be more than happy to take that call,” said Tiffany.
“But at the least let’s be respectful and refrain from publicly commenting on things we[she] know[s] nothing about. As I say to any keyboard trolls on my Instagram: “if you have nothing nice to say then don’t say anything at all.””
Meanwhile, Megan went on to say that she found the entire ordeal comical.
In Maguire’s comment about them not being “lesbians“, she found this strange as the two have obviously been in heterosexual relationships in the past (bachy? hello?), and actively avoided labels in terms of sexual orientation.
“I can’t help but laugh a little at Keira’s comment.. firstly the part ‘they aren’t lesbians’… haha, we AREN’T lesbians! There are other types of sexualities!,” Megan replied.
While we have reached out to Keira for comment, she has not yet responded.
“I don’t want to say anything I regret, so let’s just say although I haven’t heard from Keira since we were both filming, I wish her all the best,” said Megan.
