While Jame’s and Erica Packer’s Vaucluse mega-mansion hit an Australian record in 2015, selling for $70 million AUD – it’s got nothing on this US crib.

This brand new Bel-Air estate has just hit the property market for a cool $250 million USD – that’s over $330 million Aussie dollarydoos. If sold, it’ll easily become the most expensive house in the United States. What’s both scary and revolting about this mega-pad is that it’s built ‘on spec‘, meaning it’s been designed and built solely to flog off to a prospective buyer.

All of the furniture, technology and gear in the house comes with it. That includes $30 million worth of cars and millions worth of fine art. The collection boasts a one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra that costs more than $2 million; the famous “Von Krieger” 1936 Mercedes 540 K Special Roadster (worth more than $15 million); and 10 of the rarest and fastest motorcycles ever built. According to CNBC, the staff of the home also get a brand new white Ferrari 488 and a bespoke yacht-themed Rolls Royce Dawn. Because, money.

Out of all the bells and whistles, my personal fave is the 18-foot wide, 12-foot tall, 4K TV screen that pops out of the pool using a hydraulic system. The TV is valued at $2m USD alone… yep, this single screen is nearly four times Sydney’s median house price and it’s not the most expensive TV in the house.

Let’s also not forget your quarter of a BILLION bucks scores you the 38,000-square-foot of pricey LA land and a house set across four epic levels containing everyday luxuries such as:

  • 12 bedrooms:
    • 2 master suites
    • 10 oversize ‘VIP’ guest suites
  • 21 bathrooms
  • 6 luxurious bars
  • 3 Gourmet Kitchens
  • Over 1,500 square metres of decks
  • 25 metre infinity pool
  • 40-seat 4K Dolby Atmos Theater (the most advanced home theatre in America with a 9 metre TV)
  • A four-lane bowling alley
  • A massage studio and wellness spa
  • A state-of-the-art fitness centre
  • 2 wine-champagne cellars
  • $30M worth of cars in your massive garage
  • Putting geen
  • A custom-built glass ping pong table, four glass foosball tables and a $12,000 glass pool table
  • A giant stainless steel and glass “candy wall”
  • Two commercial elevators (lined in alligator skin)
  • The full-time staff of seven’s wages (including a chef, chauffeur and masseuse) are paid off for two years.

Ultra cashed up developer Bruce Makowsky is behind the project and says he wanted to create more than just a house but a “curated lifestyle and experience that would appeal to a new class of global billionaire” (said with whisky and cigar in hand).

Speaking with CNBC, the developer said:

“I wanted to redefine what super-high-end luxury homes are all about”

“I wanted to break all the molds. The level of quality and attention to detail in this house is unsurpassed. And I wanted to create the greatest feeling that you can have being at home.”

Take a look at the insane images of the house below. On the last page you’ll be able to watch the sales video for a more in-depth peak inside!
