It’s been a whopping two years since the third season of Stranger Things came out and far out we’ve been missing the gang.

But, with that said, Netflix has given us our Hawkins fix by dropping the official trailer for Stranger Things Season 4.

To refresh your memory, we were last teased with Sheriff Hopper stuck in Russia, but this new trailer has pivoted to his kin, Eleven. If we know anything about the next season of Stranger Things, it’s that the show will focus a little more on Eleven’s backstory.

Watch the new Stranger Things trailer here:

From the trailer, we can deduce that Dr. Brenner (aka the director of Hawkins National Laboratory and Eleven’s surrogate father) is, in fact, alive. The last time we’d seen Martin Brenner was in the finale of Season 1, when he was being attacked like crazy by the Demogorgon. But now, in this trailer, he calls out his daughter, “Eleven, are you listening?”

Unfortunately, fans were eager for an official release date for the fourth season, which we didn’t actually get. But, we have a feeling it’s right around the corner. But, if you’ll allow us to speculate a bit, the Stranger Things social media accounts seem to have “002/004” plastered everywhere, which could allude to February 4th… In 2022? Maybe? We hope it’s not that far away… It could also just be the teaser trailer 2/4 (since we’ve had one already).

Who knows? Only time will tell!

If we are getting more trailers though, consider this a formal request to get one that’s all about Steve Harrington. Pleaseeeee.
