STREWTH M8: Bachy’s Sam Frost Has Scored Herself A Role On ‘Home & Away’

Our girl Sam Frost from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette glory is heading to Summer Bay!

Channel Seven has confirmed that Frost secured a leading role on the soap, with a spokesperson for the network telling NewsCorp that “Sam’s audition blew us away”.

The good news comes after her recent radio gig with Rove was axed and the station announced they were ending their professional relationship with the reality star. Pretty much with one day’s notice to listeners.

But it looks like she’s saying  ‘buh-bye’ to radio and ‘g’day m8’ to television, and the network are keen AF to have her as the newest addition to the show. This cleverly comes on the back of her stint on Hell’s Kitchen, so her ability to stay in the limelight post Bachelor is pretty impressive. A spokesperson for Seven said,

“In joining the cast of Home and Away, Sam will be in great company and is about to enjoy a wonderful phase of her career”

Sam told The Daily Telegraph she was mighty stoked with the new acting gig, being a longtime fan of the series.

“I grew up watching Home And Away and never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be on set and part of the cast,” she said.

“I got asked while I was working on (reality cooking show) Hell’s Kitchen. I auditioned against a whole bunch of people and that’s why I thought I wouldn’t get the role.

“After my second audition, when they finally said, ‘You got the job!’ I screamed. I was so excited.”

Frosty will begin filming later this year and we can expect to see her on the series as of 2018. Before then, you can catch the reality bae cooking up a storm on Hell’s Kitchen, also on Seven.
