PRAISE BE: A New Sugar-Free, Vegan Ice Cream Exists & It Actually Tastes Good
Iso life means we’re all eating and thinking about food a lot more than usual. Honestly, what else is there to do?
However, stuffing your face with non-stop food all day isn’t the healthiest, especially as I personally have a massive sweet tooth, and right now all I crave is ice cream. But my prayers have been answered, as I’ve just discovered a new vegan ice cream that’s sugar free and…it actually tastes good. Like, really good.
Denada Co. is an Australian, all natural, gluten-free, and keto and diabetic friendly ice cream that’s 99% sugar-free, so you can eat as much as you want (within reason) and you don’t have to worry too much about your sugar intake. Bonus points as the ice cream is even lower in sugar than other popular sugar-free brand, Halo Top.
Denada have released two new flavours — salted caramel and expresso choc fudge — and they’re both vegan.
I recently tried Denada’s vegan ice cream flavours and let me tell you, salted caramel is a soo damn good. It tastes sweet, super creamy and coconutty, with a hint salt, and I downed an entire tub in one sitting. I feel no shame.
If you’re vegan, you’ll know it’s difficult to find non-dairy ice cream that doesn’t taste like flavoured ice, so I was hyped that this actually resembled normal ice cream.
The salted caramel flavour is going to be my go-to treat for the rest of my iso, and I recommend anyone looking for a low-sugar, vegan dessert to get on it.
Denada’s non-vegan flavours include: vanilla, mint chip, peanut butter and double choc.
