The 2016 Sugar Mountain Line Up Is Here

The line up for the Sugar Mountain festival was announced this morning and it’s packed with quality Aussie talent alongside some solid international treats.

British electro great Hot Chip are one of the headline acts. Coming straight off a six month world tour which included gigs at Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, the boys are certainly set to rock out Sugar mountain with their sixth album ‘Why make sense?’ which they dropped in May this year.

Dâm-Funk  is sure to set the festival alight with his smooth beats which have been developed with huge names such as Snoop Dogg and Disclosure. Coming out with a new track ‘Invite the light’ in May, the lad from Pasadena will be joined by Flea, Q-tip, and a few others.

Homegrown Melbourne boys ‘Research and Development’ are also one of the emerging players joining the line up this year. Dominating the Melbourne dance scene since the early 90’s, history tells us that they’re going to absolutely kill this gig.

Other acts announce include Dirty Three, Courtney Barnett, Julio Bashmore, Royal Headache, Empress of, and Tim Sweeney. For a full list of the acts, check out the sugar mountain website:
