Everyone’s favourite real estate reality show is back, with Netflix dropping a new season of Selling Sunset over the weekend.
Season 4 is dominated by drama between Christine Quinn and well, basically every other Oppenheim Group broker. The season kicks off with Christine pregnant with her first child, and when she throws a baby shower she does not invite former bestie Mary Fitzgerald or longtime nemesis Chrishell Stause.
More drama follows when Christine’s position within the brokerage is replaced while she’s on maternity leave by a woman she claims an ex cheated on her with five years ago: Emma Hernan. Christine still holds a grudge, and after gatecrashing Mary and Jason Oppenheim’s puppies’ birthday party, she confronted Emma and told her that her ex had proposed to her when they were together. This tidbit of information monopolised the season, as Mary maintained that this wasn’t true, and while Christine said she told Davina Potratz at the time about the engagement, Davina later clarified that she hadn’t even met Christine when it happened.
So what is the truth? Who knows! But it all came to a head at the real estate company’s big party when Christine arrived and ended up getting into a heated argument with Mary. She tried to salvage their friendship, but Mary wasn’t interested.
Along with newbie Emma, this season saw a new addition in Mexican broker Vanessa Villela and the return of all our OG faves — even Davina rejoined the Oppenheim Group. Unlike her chaotic form in earlier seasons, Davina was on her best behaviour this time around. And she didn’t even try to sell any more $75 million properties.
