Tayla From ‘MAFS’ Has Slammed Her Villain Edit In The Most Tayla Way Possible
Tayla Winter may not have been on Married at First Sight for very long but she sure made her mark on the show.
The intruder bride from Tassie copped the wrath of MAFS fans after treating her husband Hugo poorly, questioning his masculinity, and making him sleep on the couch for their whole ‘marriage’, while admitting to copping some sexts from her ex while on the show.
After trying to leave the experiment in the last commitment ceremony and then making it through Retreat Week, Tayla apparently packed her bags and headed back to Tasmania before the dinner party, only to show up towards the tail end of the dinner party in what looked like a bid to make things work with Hugo.
But it’s reality TV, so is all what it seems? According to Tayla, absolutely not.

Appearing on Tassie’s Hit100.9’s Dan & Christie, Tayla said she never wanted to return from Tassie but “had to”.
“Even last night, they edited my audio so much to make it sound like I wanted to stay,” she said. “I never wanted to return from Tassie.”
The divisive bride continued to spill more tea, saying she was quite close with most people in the experiment and her edit isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
“I’ve definitely been given the female villain [edit] but it is what it is, the people who know me, know me,” Tayla said, sounding completely and utterly unfazed.
“They’ve tried to make it look like I’m really isolated and everyone is against me, when it really wasn’t the case at all.”
Tayla then went on to say Hugo played his role:
“I mean, Hugo really did play his role in, you know, backstabbing me quite a lot but in the end, no one really listened to him. If people really knew what happened they would understand why I wouldn’t want to speak to him [Hugo] again.”

And on the Cam rumours of him FaceTiming her his, uh, package?
“Cam is one of my best friends from the show, we’re really really good friends. I’m planning on going to see him next month. There was a little bit of a show and tell from his side of things. He was in a nightclub, I was with my friends drinking, and he did whip it out, I will admit, but it wasn’t an intimate moment. He was with all of his friends up in Alice Springs and got everything out.”
Well, we can’t wait to hear what goes on with them when they catch up next month, that’s for sure.
