Do we need more reality dating shows in Australia? Nope. Will I continue to eat them right up and beg for more? Yes sir. Please make way in your life for Take Me Out, a reality dating game show hosted by the always loveable Joel Creasey.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s ‘cos the international phenomenon has already had an Aussie series on Channel Ten (although titled Taken Out), hosted by James Kerley back in 2008.

Since then, reality dating shows have exploded in popularity, driven by huge rating winners Love Island, The Bachelor and Married At First Sight.

Take Me Out seems much more speedily paced, and the short teaser sees our host manage a whole gaggle of girls as they pick which boys they’d like to date.

It gets pretty savage and looks like a wild ride. Basically, people are awful and you should never date anyone ever again.

The series start date hasn’t yet been disclosed.
