The 2015 Emmy Awards have kicked off at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. The awards ceremony, recognising the best in American primetime TV is being broadcast in Australia on Fox 8 right now.

The red carpet arrivals sent social media into overdrive (as usual) as a bevvy of D-Grade celebrities tried to revive their careers with some fucking outrageous kit choices, hoping for some press (any publicity is good publicity, right?)

HBO’s programs, including Game of Thrones are expected to be the big winners, with the network receiving a whopping 40 nominations.
