The Australian Landmarks That Lit-Up In Red, White And Blue In Solidarity For France
Last night, as we came to terms with the horrific murder of innocent people on the streets or Paris, the world’s landmarks lit in the French national colours as a sign of solidarity.
It was a poignant message of support for the suffering France will endure in the wake of yesterday’s violent act. It also demonstrated that these barbaric acts only unify the world and bring us closer together for peace and a political resolute against ISIS.
Many landmarks across Australia took part in the spontaneous global sign of support. From Melbourne’s MCG to Perth’s Council Hall. Here are images of our national landmarks draped in red, white and blue for France.
