She came on the show saying she didn’t like pilots, and by her final scene, it was pretty clear that Stephanie Lynch will be adding Jimmy Nicholson to her blacklist of pilots.

Following bad reviews from Jimmy’s sister and then mum on tonight’s show, Steph was sent packing after Jimmy was alerted that Steph was allegedly still umm… talking about once having an ex-boyfriend. The nerve!

Jimmy interviewed the other women at tonight’s cocktail party to corroborate his mum’s account that Steph was still hung up on her ex. It was all very Law and Order: Special Bachy Unit. After hearing Lily and Tahnee agree that Steph spoke about her ex while in the mansion (how dare she!), Jimmy then pulled Steph aside and all hell broke loose.

“I’m a little bit confused,” he began. “Mum came in and met you all… Mum mentioned you spoke about your ex a bit.” Then we didn’t actually hear what Jimmy said next, as there was a weird voiceover played of Steph saying that in a “hot spot” she was about to have her “last hurrah”, in a disjointed sentence that made absolutely no sense.

Next minute, the conversation cut to Steph getting teary in front of Jimmy — I guess, to make us think she was putting on crocodile tears. He then told her that other girls in the mansion had mentioned her saying she’s still in love with her ex (did they?), and she slammed back, “Who said that? I’ve never spoken about that ex to anyone in this house. Did you ask anyone about Holly and how shit she is?”

Short interval:

Jimmy replied, “Steph, I don’t want to sit here and have an argument with you. Do you genuinely see something here with me, because if not, I think we should just call it a day?” In response, Steph smiled and told Jimmy, “I’m very happy to leave.”

Then she left! In the limo, when Steph was asked if she was alright, she told a producer, “Dude, I’m fu*king ecstatic. I would marry my ex a thousand times before I would get with Jimmy.”

I mean, the whole thing was pretty damn iconic.

Whether you loved or loathed Steph, there’s no denying she was a memorable character on this year’s season.

However, most fans fall firmly into column B and are glad to see her go:

I already miss Steph’s messy antics a lot.
