the bachelor contestant leaves

Here’s The Frontrunner Who Is Expected To Leave ‘The Bachelor’ Tonight

Something felt extremely suss on last night’s The Bachelor when a private conversation between Jimmy and his family was aired, showing him admitting to rating Brooke above all the other women. Err, OK? Cool.

It was just weird and felt rather intrusive, but makes a lot more sense if it’s inclusion in the episode was foreshadowing Brooke’s departure on tonight’s episode due to a family tragedy. I reckon that dodgy clip was added in an effort to paint Brooke as ‘the one that got away.’

It simply has to be Brooke who leaves tonight.

In a teaser for the upcoming drama, Jay, Holly, Carlie, and Lily are all included. Then in the promo that followed the episode, both Steph and Ash were featured. In tonight’s promo, Ash can be heard saying that the person who left “spent a lot of time” with Jimmy. According to the process of elimination, the only contestant who has gone on dates with Jimmy that isn’t spotted in the next episodes… is Brooke.

This theory is backed up by the latest tea spilled in the So Dramatic! podcast, with host Megan Pustetto claiming in a recent episode that “Brooke walks out on her own accord because she found out the devastating news that her grandfather had passed away.” A contestant told the host that “She was very close to her grandfather, she spoke about him all the time in the house, she loved him.”

The good news is that it looks like Brooke will come back. A source told the Daily Mail that, “Producers gave her permission to leave the mansion and fly back to Melbourne for her grandpa’s funeral,” they said. Brooke is rumoured to have returned to the mansion just a few days later, which came as a surprise to some of the contestants. “Everyone understood she wasn’t going to come back,” the source claimed.

Pustetto echoed these sentiments, with a contestant telling the podcast “No one expected her to come back, we thought she had left for good because that’s what she told producers. However, Brooke did end up coming back — leaving everyone surprised,” they said, adding, “They got Jimmy to FaceTime her and beg her to come back, so she did.” Again, this feeds perfectly into the whole ‘one that got away’ story arc.

Brooke isn’t just rumoured to come back into the Bachy mansion, she is odds on favourite to be the runner-up, with Holly expected to win Jimmy’s heart in the finale. Sending all of our love to Brooke. I hope she at least got a free flight out of it.

The Bachelor airs on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
