Bachy Power Couple Matty J And Laura Are Officially Married!
The Bachelor universe has scored another success story after 2017 winner’s Matty J Johnson and Laura Byrne officially tied the knot, and their wedding looked absolutely phenomenal.
The pair got married in a lovely outdoor ceremony in Cuppitt’s Estate in NSW, surrounded by their friends and family. In true Matty J fashion, his vows were full of humour, as he told Laura “The moment we first met, I thought, ‘Holy s**t. Here she is.’ I was determined to get you pregnant as soon as possible. And as luck would have, you felt the same way,” the Daily Mail reported.
Laura also shared her love for Matty in her vows. “I promise to fill our house with laughter and fun and silliness and happiness, and I promise to tell you that I love you daily and show you. I promise to always give you a kiss goodnight and a bit extra if I’m not too tired, you know, to keep the spark alive!” she apparently said during the nuptials.

Matty and Laura’s daughters, Marlie-Mae and Lola, both played massive roles in the nuptials as flower girls. Also can we just take a moment to appreciate Laura’s dress? She looks stunning!
Laura’s Life Uncut co-host Brittany Hockley was, of course, in attendance, and she shared a lot of amazing pics and vids from the wedding. In a collaboration post with Life Uncut on Instagram, Brittany wrote “Alone you’re both kicking goals, but together you’re unstoppable. You’re proof that real, crazy, funny, raw, beautiful, literally fairytale love exists!”

Brittany also shared some cheeky snippets on her story from the wedding, even sharing Laura’s reception outfit, which included a pair of funky sequin pants!

Matty was first on The Bachelor scene in 2016, where he competed to be Georgia Love’s errr… love. However, he was dumped for her future husband Lee Elliott but Matty returned as The Bachelor in 2017.
Laura entered the mansion and sparks were flying! Of course, Matty chose her and since then the pair have been inseparable. In late 2018, Laura and Matty announced that they would be expecting a baby and during a babymoon in Fiji, Matt proposed to Laura.
In 2020, the pair announced that they were expecting once again!
