The Funniest Tweets From Tonight’s Special ‘Zoomchelor’ Bachy Episode
On tonight’s The Bachelor, the dreaded Zoom dating portion of the season finally happened and tbh, they weren’t so bad?
Virtual dating on The Bachelor is unprecedented so it could have gone either way. It could have been as boring as watching my Sydney work colleagues in a meeting from the confines of my Melbourne apartment (if my boss Rob is reading this, I’m only joking!? I have fun!) or there could be some added drama from the option of people just yeeting out of calls whenever they want.
Thankfully, it was option two and Roxi was, of course, the person to decide to quit a group call on tonight’s episode and instead go on a picnic date with her dog. I’d personally take a dog date over a Zoom date any day, which might be the only time I’ve related to Roxi on this show.
The catalyst for her sudden exit was a question being put to the group over Roxi’s alleged “secret boyfriend” which is coincidently what I call my Uber Eats driver. He doesn’t know. That’s why it’s a secret. Later on, mayhem ensued between Roxi and Juliette at the virtual cocktail party and Twitter was there to pick up the pieces.
Tonight’s The Bachelor retold via hilarious tweets:
We’re back filming The Bachelor but this time it’s very different. The girls are all sent laptops and then join a video call with Osher to find out the show will continue virtually.

Izzy gets chosen for the first single virtual date with Locky. They make tacos together and then both have bubble baths before she finds a rose left for her.

The girls have a video chat and realise that some have received phone calls from Locky while others haven’t.
So Bachie has come down to Lachy working 10 girls on the text at the same time.

I can’t decide if I love or hate that it now just feels like watching a bunch of girls realising the same guy is telling them all they’re the only one he’s seeing?! #TheBachelorAU pic.twitter.com/nXBJZu8Dmj

For the group video date, the women receive animal onesies to wear and can send anonymous questions to each other. In a spicy development, someone (*cough* Juliette) asks, “Roxi, why do you a secret boyfriend?” OOFT. Roxi drops out of the group convo.
I just wish Roxi could show her emotions a little more #TheBachelorAU

Afterwards, Juliette and Roxi argue over the questions and everyone exits the video call out of sheer awkwardness.
