Everything We Know About ‘The Bachelor’ Gamer Stephanie Lynch
Jimmy Nicholson’s season of The Bachelor has only just begun but a clear villain has already stepped forward and that’s gamer, Stephanie Lynch.
This 27-year-old business development manager from WA immediately captured viewers attention on episode one, as she imploded after finding out that Jimmy was a pilot — which also happened to be her ex’s profession. A woman getting irrationally triggered by her ex is extremely relatable to me, but it’s safe to say that Steph hasn’t won a lot of fans so far.
In Steph’s intro package, she was described as gamer girl who streams herself playing video games online. She has 1.4k followers on her Twitch account, where her bio reads: “Hey! I’m Steph and live in Perth, Western Australia. OCE’s worst Mage/Warrior. Guaranteed to lose additional brain cells the longer you stay in the channel.”
While Steph does indeed stream on Twitch, the show positioning her as something of a celebrity in the gaming world doesn’t really add up. In the world of Twitch, 1.4k is a modest following. By contrast, other gamer girls on the platform — like @pokimane and @Loserfruit — have millions of followers.
Something else that seems suss is that on the Twitch page, Steph’s entire history has been wiped. Suspicious? According to the latest So Dramatic! episode, host Megan Pustetto claimed that, “Channel 10 must have made her wipe this content from the web, leading me to be suspicious of the kind of content she was putting on there.”
After watching some of Stephanie’s deleted Twitch footage, Pustetto confirmed she didn’t find anything especially scandalous. One of Steph’s subscribers revealed to Pustetto that “it’s mainly her chat that gets a bit hectic…her motto is, ‘Heely fast and eat ass’. She’s a different cat and makes me laugh my ass off daily,” they told the podcast.

I mean, she sounds….awesome? Hopefully the Bachy producers don’t do Steph too dirty with their edit. When she’s not gaming, according to her Instagram, Steph loves sharing a bevvy with friends, hanging by the pool, and frequents business class when she flies. Could she be getting an upgrade because she dated the pilot? I’d hope so!
When we asked Steph to write her own dating app bio, she told us she would say, “I’ll say sorry but I’m not taking off my glasses.” Obviously referencing Corey Worthington’s infamous interview, Steph’s got jokes! We’re already obsessed.

She described her perfect date as “Endless, easy conversation over a few drinks somewhere cosy,” and considers laughter an integral ingredient in any successful relation. “I love being able to share stupid memes and laughter with a partner,” she told us. Steph added that she also takes into account if she and a potential partner share “mutual interests – if he trains leg day, looks like he would kill me in my sleep etc,” she joked.
I love this woman! If Jimmy isn’t keen on Steph, I doubt she will be single for long.
