Aussies Have Had Their Hearts Shattered As Ciarran Decides To Leave ‘The Bachelorette’
It happened. Our beautiful boy, our English rose, Ciarran, has left The Bachelorette.
On tonight’s episode, Ciarran shared with Angie the devastating news that his grandmother had passed away and he would be leaving the show. Ciarran had previously spoken about how close he was with his gran, which made the news all the more heart-shattering.
He could barely get his words out amid tears, telling Angie, “If I’m going to be here then I obviously want to be the best version I can be, but with everything that’s going on, I honestly don’t feel like I can be,” before saying, “I want to go see my family.”
I have to say, I'm grateful to Ciarran for letting us show such an intimate moment. To witness a man grieving like this is a privilege. #BacheloretteAU

Angie obviously was understanding but said she would miss him, and Ciarran replied, “I feel like we’ve got a connection but it’s really hard for me to do this.”
He continued: “I’m not going to lie, I’m definitely going to regret doing this without a doubt, because I was really enjoying what’s going on between yourself and myself, and I think that I would have been the perfect match, but I’m super sorry it’s got to end this way.”
This goodbye has us absolutely gutted ? #BacheloretteAU pic.twitter.com/7a0RFqpwSN

Ciarran couldn’t stop the tears from flowing, and, as a viewer, it was just a stab to the heart. Most of us have all been there and can relate to his grief.
Australia is absolutely shattered for Ciarran:

The fact that Ciarran was so worried about being the “best version” of himself for Angie just makes me love him so much more. The world needs more surprise packages like Ciarran.#bacheloretteau

Ciarran is exactly the kind of man #BacheloretteAU should be showcasing. He wear his heart on his sleeve and he’s completely unafraid to be himself. There’s light years between him and the likes of Jess and Jamie.

Sending all our love to Ciarran and his family.
